Started from one frustration
Vilistus was founded by Nigel Walker and Stephen Clark, out of Steve's frustration with how expensive — and how unreliable — most biofeedback equipment was. Working closely with therapists, trainers and researchers, they set one non-negotiable brief: whatever they built had to be affordable.
Today Steve oversees software, sales and customer service, while Nigel leads the ongoing design, manufacture and support of the hardware. Everything is built at their own factory in England's Lake District National Park, which is how they keep prices down without cutting corners.
Most new features exist because a customer asked for them. If you need a sensor that doesn't exist yet, that's a conversation worth having.
